چکیده
There has been steady and significant growth development of the technology available to pilots on modern aviation flight deck. From improved information systems such as Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), increased control aircraft (e.g., automated collision avoidance maneuvering) onwards overall management flights (via Management System, FMS), now have a range high-tech at their fingertips. This is designed support in maintaining situation awareness, making complex decisions, communicating effectively assisting flying aircraft. However, each technological advancement comes with human computer interaction (HCI) considerations that warrant exploration. special issue aims bring together new knowledge best practices, from scientific community industry, related HCI issues The goal shed light areas need improvement potential solutions for effective articles within this incorporate quantitative qualitative research methods along design techniques examine current future use deck how it impacts pilot performance. Although represents small portion challenges face when interacting deck, will hopefully serve lens focus attention many face, progress made date, show improvement.

Human Computer Interaction – A Modern Overview
Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is a discipline which aims at an established understanding and designing of different interfaces between humans and computers in a way that it defines systems that are enjoyable to use, are engaging and are accessible. In 1970’s, the development in HCI was majorly inclined towards “usability” of the interaction systems. Since then, HCI has set a positive growth ...
متن کاملHuman Factors Engineering and Flight Deck
This chapter briefly describes Human Factors Engineering and considerations for civil aircraft flight deck design. The motivation for providing the emphasis on the Human Factor is that the operation of future aviation systems will continue to rely on humans in the system for effective, efficient, and safe operation. Pilots, mechanics, air traffic service personnel, designers, dispatchers, and m...
